Give a warm welcome to the fleet of examinations this February and March with complete ease

DO YOU FEAR WHEN EXAMINATION IS NEAR?

Why does the very thought of examination send a chill down our spine? The minute we talk about examination,  our temperament switches channel instantly and brings a gloomy look on our face. Some even end up having sweaty palms, cold feet and a tsunami of panic attacks. Ugh!!!!

HAUNTED SLEEP!!!

Who is actually to be blamed for painting a black picture of the concept ‘EXAMINATION’. Teachers, parents, seniors from our schools and colleges, hype created by media… Who exactly?? A trend that has not changed since ages is the fear, anxiety, restlessness, angst, nail biting, goose bumps at the very thought of examination. To top it on if it is a 10th standard board examination then the levels are going to multiple by default. Infact even Lord Christ once uttered, "May God not put anybody to test".

If examinations are dreaded so much what’s the need to have it? Let’s just do away with it. But on second thoughts don’t you think there must be something to mark the standards and to judge the ability of the candidates?

RELEASING A HORROR MOVIE CALLED 'EXAMINATION' SHORTLY

I firmly believe that if one studies because of fear of examination then it is completely futile and sheer waste of time. It won’t get the best out of you. Examinations add to our ability, power of toleration, alertness, perseverance and other good qualities. No wonder I remember one of my friend saying examination is a ‘NECESSARY EVIL’.

I feel our examination system does have some flaws and that’s the reason why people say that excelling in exams is a combination of hard work + good luck. But don't forget' THE HARDER YOU TRY THE LUCKIER YOU GET'.

The aim of education should be to equip the students for the tough battle of life, build their character and personality and also widen their horizons.

Putting it in a nutshell, examination days are just like any other days, so shoo away the fear and anxiety. POP IN the following 5 tablets of examination forte on regular basis, you will surely come out with flying colours:

    1.  Be punctual and follow your class lessons properly to cover your syllabus in a systematic manner. Catch a grip of every concept.
    2. Revise on regular basis from day one; last minute studying has done good to none.
    3. Never hesitate to clarify your doubts with your teachers. Teachers are your friends and not your foes.
    4. Chalk out a time table for board exam preparation and allocate ample time for each subject.
    5. Eat healthy, take sufficient rest and always stay mentally
positive. Also make sure you are spending some quality time playing and re- energizing yourself.

If you follow these simple guidelines, you need not fear examination. No one can stop you from excelling. So what are you waiting for, plunge into the Sea of Examination and swim as you never swam before, participate in the Marathon of Examination and run as you never ran before.

REMEMBER : Each student is like a player and must accept the cards life has thrown to him or her. But once they are in hand, he or she alone must decide how to play the cards wisely to win the game.

TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR DESTINY, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, IGNORE THOSE WHO TRY TO DEMORALIZE YOU. SUCCESS OUGHT TO TOUCH YOUR FEET!!!!!

Memories knitted up with love!!

Memory- The best jewellry in my treasure box

Tell me what is it that struck your mind the first when you wake up early in the morning. For me undoubtedly it is about the plan of action for the day (commonly known as POA). Who helps us in doing so, it’s none other than our Memory Card!!!

It’s like a tape recorder that has been very meticulously fixed into our mind by Almighty when he created humans. The record button automatically gets switched on and off as and when required. Of course, this so called gifted recorder is very SELECTIVE. It will record very conveniently what we intend to remember, it could be anything from bad to good moments, something from happy to sad and sorrowful moments, our lessons, our presentations and there is no stop to this list.

There are also some very special memories that are leached to our life forever. Over a period of time memories do fade (human tendency). However I think that our Memory card is somewhat like a dam which, with the slightest provocation opens the flood gates and all the memories of the past come gushing with no barriers or twists and turns. One just ceaselessly flows along with those thoughts in complete tranquility.

ENJOY THE RIDE THROUGH YOUR MEMORY LANE

Just the other day I peeped out of the window to call my little devil back home after long hours of play and when I saw him merrily playing with his pals it dawned upon me that I genuinely missed my childhood days. I was automatically transmitted to the by lanes of my childhood. I always felt that when we played, giggled and laughed with our friends we were having fun but what I didn’t realize is that we unknowingly knitted up the blanket of memories in which we safely tuck ourselves.

Memory is like a mirror for the past. It’s also like a camera which is placed into our brains and vividly clicks pictures and stores them like an album. If these albums were not installed in our brains such a mess and chaos our life would have been. In fact who would remind us of our IDENTITY? Have you ever thought of it?

I ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT WE HAVE MEMORIES BUT IT'S THE MEMORIES THAT ALSO HAVE US.GIVE IT A THOUGHT!!!

So, basically time moves ahead and memory moves backward. But I feel it’s good to sometimes move backward for a while, after all it’s our past and without our past our present and future would not have been prevalent.

So all you people who have read this do walk down the memory lane. As we don’t have a magic wand it is the only way to relive our past. You never know you might bump into someone whom you haven’t met for eons together. Give it a try in your busy schedules and tell me how it feels.

I bet you are going to love this ticketless journey because sometimes a short journey down the memory lane is all it takes to appreciate where you are TODAY!!!

For once reliving past through an iconic movie,DDLJ!!!

Some movies create a lifetime mark on our Hearts

In the year 1995 when I was in class XI, I came across a story of a juvenile, fun loving boy and this  girl who lived in a chimerical world and felt that she would meet her Mr. Perfect someday. One fine day they both meet and then begins ebb and flow in their lives which eventually culminates into unconditional love and trust. You guessed it right, I am very much talking about the Priceless and Timeless Romance depicted in a love–epic and extraordinary Bollywood movie - Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995)

A movie that touched every young heart and soul, a film that made every girl feel that Simran is her mirror image and every boy feel that he is the perfect Raj for his SENORITA.

Bade bade deshon mein aaisi choti choti baatein...hoti rehti hai

It’s the longest running movie in Mumbai city and gloriously completes 1000 weeks today i.e 12th December 2014.

I have never been a movie buff but this is one such movie that hit me at the right chord and at the right age. It made a permanent mark in my heart which made me feel that there does exists ‘UNCONDITIONAL LOVE’.

It not only created history in Indian Cinema but also considered to be a fairy tale movie of the 90’s.

So come fall in love all over again with Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge!!!
