Memories knitted up with love!!

Memory- The best jewellry in my treasure box

Tell me what is it that struck your mind the first when you wake up early in the morning. For me undoubtedly it is about the plan of action for the day (commonly known as POA). Who helps us in doing so, it’s none other than our Memory Card!!!

It’s like a tape recorder that has been very meticulously fixed into our mind by Almighty when he created humans. The record button automatically gets switched on and off as and when required. Of course, this so called gifted recorder is very SELECTIVE. It will record very conveniently what we intend to remember, it could be anything from bad to good moments, something from happy to sad and sorrowful moments, our lessons, our presentations and there is no stop to this list.

There are also some very special memories that are leached to our life forever. Over a period of time memories do fade (human tendency). However I think that our Memory card is somewhat like a dam which, with the slightest provocation opens the flood gates and all the memories of the past come gushing with no barriers or twists and turns. One just ceaselessly flows along with those thoughts in complete tranquility.

ENJOY THE RIDE THROUGH YOUR MEMORY LANE

Just the other day I peeped out of the window to call my little devil back home after long hours of play and when I saw him merrily playing with his pals it dawned upon me that I genuinely missed my childhood days. I was automatically transmitted to the by lanes of my childhood. I always felt that when we played, giggled and laughed with our friends we were having fun but what I didn’t realize is that we unknowingly knitted up the blanket of memories in which we safely tuck ourselves.

Memory is like a mirror for the past. It’s also like a camera which is placed into our brains and vividly clicks pictures and stores them like an album. If these albums were not installed in our brains such a mess and chaos our life would have been. In fact who would remind us of our IDENTITY? Have you ever thought of it?

I ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT WE HAVE MEMORIES BUT IT'S THE MEMORIES THAT ALSO HAVE US.GIVE IT A THOUGHT!!!

So, basically time moves ahead and memory moves backward. But I feel it’s good to sometimes move backward for a while, after all it’s our past and without our past our present and future would not have been prevalent.

So all you people who have read this do walk down the memory lane. As we don’t have a magic wand it is the only way to relive our past. You never know you might bump into someone whom you haven’t met for eons together. Give it a try in your busy schedules and tell me how it feels.

I bet you are going to love this ticketless journey because sometimes a short journey down the memory lane is all it takes to appreciate where you are TODAY!!!

For once reliving past through an iconic movie,DDLJ!!!

Some movies create a lifetime mark on our Hearts

In the year 1995 when I was in class XI, I came across a story of a juvenile, fun loving boy and this  girl who lived in a chimerical world and felt that she would meet her Mr. Perfect someday. One fine day they both meet and then begins ebb and flow in their lives which eventually culminates into unconditional love and trust. You guessed it right, I am very much talking about the Priceless and Timeless Romance depicted in a love–epic and extraordinary Bollywood movie - Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995)

A movie that touched every young heart and soul, a film that made every girl feel that Simran is her mirror image and every boy feel that he is the perfect Raj for his SENORITA.

Bade bade deshon mein aaisi choti choti baatein...hoti rehti hai

It’s the longest running movie in Mumbai city and gloriously completes 1000 weeks today i.e 12th December 2014.

I have never been a movie buff but this is one such movie that hit me at the right chord and at the right age. It made a permanent mark in my heart which made me feel that there does exists ‘UNCONDITIONAL LOVE’.

It not only created history in Indian Cinema but also considered to be a fairy tale movie of the 90’s.

So come fall in love all over again with Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge!!!

WORRY CAN SNEAK UP ON YOU LIKE A THIEF,ACT BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!

WORRY THE SILENT KILLER

It is so easy to memorize this five lettered word ‘WORRY’ and get it correct during a dictation test specially for any 5year old kid. But has anyone wondered the venomous effect of the word worry on every individual right from the age of 5yrs upto…….. There’s no end to it virtually.

Worry, tension, anxiety, apprehension, fear, suspicion they all belong to one single clan and have complete unison. They only spell different but mean the same. Right from the time a child enters his/her preprimary school, worry sets into his/her life  very conveniently without the consent of the child. How devastating and disastrous this worry can actually be in one’s life!! It leads to total turmoil and chaos in mind and soul having adverse effect on physical health eventually.

Will I excel in my academics, will she say yes to my proposal, will my project be accepted, will my income suffice the needs of my family, will my leave be sanctioned and the list is totally endless. Basically more the desire more does tension and worry pile up. The root cause for all such unwanted worries is ‘DESIRE’. So should we do away with our desires?? But the modern day lifestyle encourages us to desire more and more with each passing day. Desire to some extent is absolutely fine; it’s quite human to aim high and desire for accomplishment of ones wishes and dreams. However when things get overboard ones mind plays the dirty and nasty game with complete support of worry, tension and fear. Ironically, worry knows no religion, caste, gender, age, economic status of any mind it just creeps in.

So, how to come out of the vicious web of worry and tension?? Answer is very simple- SPIRITUALITY. Inner enrichment of the soul will lead you onto the path of peace and solace. It’s also a fact that THINGS ARE EASIER SAID THAN DONE. Opting for spirituality is not everyone’s cup of tea. But if we need positivity and do away with worry, I personally feel this is the best road to catch.

Trust me on this- Too much of desire or lust + worry = breeding ground for sorrow, dejection and health issues.

MENTAL WRECK BY FUTILE WORRIES

Worry and Happiness, both are a state of mind. All depends on YOU, which you want to opt for. I opted Happiness come join me and let’s add some more years to our lives.

I recently read this in my white and black companion (newspaper, TOI to be precise) –A DAY OF WORRY IS MORE EXHAUSTING THAN A WEEK OF WORK. So come on let’s take each day as it comes and cherish every moment of life!!!
